Laser treatment for kidney and ureteral stones is now available at our hospital — a minimally invasive technology that allows for precise stone fragmentation, faster recovery, and greater patient comfort.
The equipment was donated by the Italian Society of Urology (SIU) as part of the initiative SIU for Africa – Makete District, Tanzania 2025.
Dr. Mombo recently completed a period of specialist training in Italy, gaining advanced skills in the use of this technology and in the integrated management of complex urological conditions.
